Zooming To A Layers Extent

Zooming to a layers extent will set the map display to an area just big enough to show every feature in a particular layer.

Steps For Zooming To A Layers Extent

  1. Click on the Zoom To Layer Extent icon Zoom to layer extent on the Selection toolbar.
OR
  1. Right-click on the layer in the legend. A new menu will popup.
  2. Click on Zoom To Layer Extent.
