Difference Between A Solution And A Project

A project is a single map inside AccuGlobe 2007. A solution is a collection of maps, more specifically a collection of projects. A solution itself does not contain any map data or project specific settings, simply pointers to project files that make up that solution.


Saving A Solution

Whilst working on any solution it is advisable to save regularly to guard against data lost and for later retrieval. When saving a solution for the first time it is necessary to provide a name for the solution file. Solutions are stored on the hard drive with an '.AccuGlobe Solution' file extension.


Steps For Saving A Solution

  1. Click the File menu.
  2. Click the Save Solution option.
  3. If this is the first time you have saved the solution, you will be prompted to provide a path and filename.
